Horse Performance Tracker

Delete my account

This text is published in French and English. If the two versions differ, the French version prevails.

1. The app and its publisher

Horse Performance Tracker (“the service”) is published by CraftData SASU (“the publisher”). Its full details are in the legal notice.

This page says how to erase some of your data or delete your whole account, what that deletion erases, and what the publisher keeps in spite of it. The detail of the processing is in the privacy policy.

2. Deleting some of your data, without deleting your account

You do not have to delete your account to erase what it holds. In the app, each item can be deleted on its own, and erasure there is immediate and permanent, as it is everywhere else:

These deletions touch neither your account, nor your subscription, nor your credits: you carry on using the service. The website itself only carries account deletion.

If you can no longer open the app, write to contact@horseperformancetracker.com from your account’s email address, saying what you want erased. The publisher checks that you are the account holder, then acts on it within one month.

3. Deleting your account in the app

Deletion happens in the app, in three steps:

Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no grace period: nothing can be restored, by you or by support.

4. Deleting your account from the website

If you have uninstalled the app, there is nothing to reinstall: you can also delete your account from this website, on the Delete my account page. Sign in, read what is about to be destroyed, then confirm with your password.

Deletion there is the same as in the app, and you alone decide it: signing in, then your password, is what proves the account is yours. It is immediate and permanent.

Email is now only a last resort. If you can no longer sign in at all — password lost and email address out of reach — write to contact@horseperformancetracker.com from your account’s email address and ask for it to be deleted. The publisher then checks that the account is yours before acting on the request. It replies within one month; if your request is complex, it tells you so and may extend that by two months.

5. What is deleted

When you delete your account, erasure is immediate and permanent: horses, sessions, care, rations, reports, credits and billing records go with it. There is no bin, no retention period and no way back.

Deleted with the account:

6. What is kept, and for how long

Accounting is the one exception. Every sale creates a record — date, amount, tax, invoice number and billing details — that the law requires to be kept for ten years (article L123-22 of the French commercial code). The basis for it is that legal obligation, not your consent: it therefore outlives the deletion of your account, of which the record keeps no link and not your email address. It is erased at the end of the ten years. Your invoices themselves are issued and kept by Mollie, under its own obligations, so keep your own copies.

The database is backed up automatically by the host, and running the service produces technical logs. Deleted data disappears from both as they roll over: nobody looks in them to recover content you have removed.
